Important: “Reset” can mean different things by model: cancelling a cycle, clearing a control state, restarting after a fault, or performing a service-mode procedure. This guide covers only a basic power restart unless your exact model manual says otherwise.
Basic restart steps
- Record any error code on the display before clearing it.
- Stop or cancel the current cycle using the normal controls if the appliance is responding.
- Turn the appliance off. If it can be safely disconnected from power, unplug it or switch off the dedicated circuit according to the owner manual.
- Wait briefly, then restore power and start a normal cycle.
- If the same error returns, do not keep resetting it. Diagnose the cause or use manufacturer support.
Do not use a reset to hide a safety fault
Unplug the washer before removing panels. Be prepared for stored water before opening a pump filter.

Before trying model-specific button combinations
Find the full model number and use the owner manual or official support page for that exact product. Button sequences found for a different generation can open diagnostic modes or change settings.
