Who checks the database
Editorial team and appliance error-code review process
See who reviews records, what is checked, and which credentials are—and are not—currently claimed.
Current reviewer identity: Appliance Error Code Database editorial team. No individual technician credential is claimed until a real named reviewer and credentials are supplied.
What the reviewer does
- Checks error-code meanings against first-party manufacturer documentation when available.
- Keeps model caveats visible when a code may vary by generation or market.
- Separates homeowner-safe external checks from panel-off or electrical work.
- Records the source, review date and publishing confidence.
- Uses community feedback as a research lead rather than as verification.
Future named reviewers
The database schema supports reviewer profiles, credentials, source notes and revision records. When a real appliance technician or editor is assigned, add their factual biography and evidence of relevant experience rather than inventing an expert persona.
