Check a brand or model
Enter the brand and exact model number from the rating plate. The U.S. search uses the CPSC public recalls data. UK users should verify against the official OPSS Product Safety Alerts, Reports and Recalls service.
If you find a matching recall: Follow the official recall notice and manufacturer instructions. Do not improvise a repair or keep using a product where the notice says to stop use.
What this checker does
The checker is a convenience layer over official safety information. It does not maintain its own independent recall verdict and does not turn an absence of search results into a “safe” declaration.
Why exact models matter
Recalls are often limited to specific model numbers, serial-number ranges, production dates, manufacturing plants or regions. A brand-level match alone is not enough.
